COLLECTED POEMS AND PAINTINGS - CD Hunter
In history’s tome men curse your stance,Death, be proud
Unqualify your truth, belittle, moan,
Reject your honoured place; shake the
hallowed timbers with their bedlam.I rebel
To learn that time is fresh,
Uphold your veiled significance and
Not engage the stripping acts of some,
Whom apparition’s fate has cast
In deference.13 Feb 2000
